Dont listen to the entitled Ann Arborite reviews saying the food is bad, most of them wouldnt know authentic Thai food if it was thrown at them Very good Thai curry dishes are available here! Been here twice so far, they offer Red, Yellow, or Green curries - with several options of protein to choose from. Papaya salad & spring rolls were very yummy as appetizers before our main dish! One criticism I have is maybe making them spicier, or giving us a spicier option to have available. Thai hot tea was also very yummy on a cold day! Very friendly staff, and a relaxing environment.
I loved the tea with coconut cream and the spring rolls but was not too impressed with the pad Thai. The noodles are somewhat overcooked and stuck together too much and the tofu seemed like they were bought frozen and deep fried, with very few pieces. The flavor of the noodles was decent. Will have to try a few more dishes to see what I think about them.
Solid 4.5 to 4.75 stars rounded to 5. Pros: - Excellent service - Excellent atmosphere and decor - The quality of the taste of the food is excellent. - The presentation of the food is excellent. - I really like this place. (I like the location, I like the parking I like that it’s a little hidden away but still easy to get to, I like everything about it) - I feel this is an underrated restaurant people don’t know about. Needs improvement: - I really like this place quite a bit that’s why I’m not removing stars for this but this is just my advice: some prices especially on the Thai iced tea and the other teas are higher then they should be in relationship with the amount of effort and cost to make them, in my OPINION I would recommend lowering the cost of the Thai ice tea to $2.99 and the tea pots should be at $4.99 (in the long run it will benefit you a lot more but that’s just my thought). The cost of the main dishes have gone up, but quality definitely makes up for that and the cost is due to the times for living in so I understand it and will not gripe about it here. Conclusion: Went here for two both res celebrations at the same time absolutely love this place they do an outstanding job and outstanding service I think the service goes a huge way to make people happy. They also give a free fried ice cream per birthday, which was absolutely delicious. In my opinion this place is awesome to try out. We will definitely be back.
My favorite food in Ann Arbor! Love the food, Khao Soi and Panang is amazingly good. Their Noodle Soup is also really good. And my favorite is the mango sticky rice!
Loved it! Great food, loved the new (to us) location. My mom and I had a great time with great service and a very quiet sit down lunch. Thank you!
Wonderful Thai diner now situated close to Briarwood Mall with cozy interior, and a warm gracious staff. Old timers from Ann Arbor remember the old location on Washtenaw Ave near Victory Inn and Suites. This one is far better, with more natural light, albeit less floor area. But the food is just as great of not better now. We had one appetizer, the Chicken Larg which was amazing and the Red Curry. The gradients in spice levels are tangible, unlike many other restaurants, so even the medium gave us a nice heat. We're regulars and this is an updated review for the new location. Definitely a top choice even though several Thai options in A2 are not in business any longer in 2025.
